Booking, Cancellation & Weather Policy
1. Booking & Payment
A reservation is considered confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received. By booking a trip with Dirty Verde Outfitters, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this policy.
2. Client Cancellations
More than 48 hours before the scheduled trip:
Clients may request to cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before the
scheduled trip. Payments are subject to Dirty Verde Outfitters' cancellation
policy and are not automatically refundable.
Within 48 hours of the scheduled trip:
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled
trip are non-refundable and non-transferable, except at the sole discretion
of Dirty Verde Outfitters.
No-shows:
Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location at the scheduled time,
or leaving the trip after it has begun, constitutes a cancellation by the
client. No refund will be issued.
3. Weather & Water Conditions
Fishing conditions are inherently dependent on weather, water levels, water clarity, temperature, access, and other environmental factors.
Dirty Verde Outfitters reserves the right to modify the itinerary, change the fishing location, adjust the trip start time, postpone the trip, or cancel a trip when conditions are determined to be unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for the planned activity.
4. Location Changes
Dirty Verde Outfitters reserves the right to change the fishing location when weather, water conditions, access, safety, regulations, or other circumstances warrant a change.
A replacement location may offer different fishing conditions, species, scenery, or fishing techniques than the originally scheduled location.
When reasonably possible, Dirty Verde Outfitters will communicate any location change to the client before the scheduled trip.
A change in location due to weather, water conditions, access, safety, or other operational circumstances does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
5. Weather-Related Cancellations
If Dirty Verde Outfitters determines that conditions are unsafe or that a trip cannot reasonably be conducted, Dirty Verde Outfitters may cancel or postpone the trip.
When a trip is cancelled by Dirty Verde Outfitters for weather or safety reasons, the client may be offered the opportunity to reschedule for a mutually available date. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
At the discretion of Dirty Verde Outfitters, a credit toward a future trip may be offered in lieu of rescheduling.
6. No Guarantee of Fishing Conditions
Dirty Verde Outfitters does not guarantee a specific number of fish, species, size of fish, water conditions, weather conditions, or fishing success.
Fishing is an outdoor activity subject to conditions beyond the control of the outfitter.
7. Safety
The safety of clients, guides, and equipment takes priority over the originally planned itinerary.
The guide or designated Dirty Verde Outfitters representative has final authority regarding whether conditions are appropriate for the trip, whether the location should be changed, and whether the trip should be modified, postponed, or cancelled for safety reasons.
8. Client Acknowledgment
By booking a trip with Dirty Verde Outfitters, the client acknowledges that:
- Fishing is an outdoor activity subject to unpredictable conditions.
- Weather and water conditions may require changes to the itinerary or fishing location.
- The originally scheduled location is not guaranteed.
- Trip payments are subject to the cancellation terms stated above.
- A weather-related location change does not automatically qualify for a refund.
- Fishing success, fish species, and environmental conditions are not guaranteed.
- Safety decisions made by Dirty Verde Outfitters and its guides are final.
